Built in 2012 for Jan and Barry Ireland, this large family home (354m2) ticks all the boxes.

Double exterior frames provide excellent insulation and a "deep recess look" for the outside doors and windows. Use of exposed timber inside and outside the house that gives it a rustic Central Otago look. All of the exterior window and door joinery were imported from Europe. A mix of different claddings were used including cedar weather board, iron and plaster complemented by Central Otago stone used for the feature walls and chimney.
